01 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AttendanceBuddy ("the App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

02 Description of the App

AttendanceBuddy is a mobile application designed to help employers, contractors, and managers:

• Track daily attendance for laborers across multiple pay structures.
• Record overtime hours and advance payment amounts.
• Generate salary summaries and printable PDF reports.
• Manage multiple labor types including daily wage, per-kg, per-count, and per-hour workers.

Core functionality works on your local device without an internet connection. An internet connection is used for optional cloud backup, which securely stores your data so it can be restored on a new device or after reinstallation.

03 Permitted Use

You may use AttendanceBuddy solely for lawful workforce management purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App to record data about individuals without their knowledge or consent, where required by applicable law.
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it.
• Use the App for any unlawful employment practices or to facilitate violation of labor laws.

04 User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of all data you enter into the App (worker names, rates, attendance, advances).
• Compliance with local labor laws, minimum wage regulations, and employment regulations in your jurisdiction.
• Obtaining any necessary consent from workers before recording their attendance or payment data.
• Securing your device to prevent unauthorized access to payroll information.
• Ensuring your device has an active internet connection periodically so that cloud backups can sync successfully and your data remains recoverable.

05 Data Accuracy & Financial Decisions

We are not responsible for any financial losses, disputes, or legal issues arising from incorrect data entry, misconfigured pay rates, or over-reliance on App-generated figures without independent verification.

06 Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in AttendanceBuddy, including but not limited to the software, design, graphics, and documentation, are owned by AttendanceBuddy and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to AttendanceBuddy's intellectual property other than the limited right to use the App as described herein.

The data you enter into the App remains your own. AttendanceBuddy claims no ownership over your labor or payroll records.

07 Disclaimer of Warranties

AttendanceBuddy is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• Warranties that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs.
• Warranties regarding the accuracy of salary calculations.

Use of the App is at your own risk.

08 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AttendanceBuddy and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data due to device failure or uninstallation.
• Payroll disputes arising from incorrect calculations based on user-entered data.
• Any financial, legal, or employment-related consequences of using the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).

09 Termination

You may stop using AttendanceBuddy at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted.

We reserve the right to discontinue the App or update it in ways that may change its functionality. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of significant changes.

10 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

11 Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of AttendanceBuddy after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
